About the Role

Key Responsibilities
Test Planning and Execution

  • Analyse business requirements and functional specifications.
  • Create test scenarios and test cases.
  • Execute functional, integration, and end-to-end testing.
  • Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT).
  • Validate business processes and system changes.

Defect Management

  • Identify defects and issues.
  • Log defects using testing tools.
  • Work with development teams to resolve issues.
  • Retest fixes and confirm resolution.

Stakeholder Collaboration

  • Work closely with:
    • Business Analysts
    • Project Managers
    • Developers
    • Product Owners
    • Operations teams
    • Client SMEs (Subject Matter Experts)

Delivery Assurance

  • Ensure business requirements are met.
  • Verify system functionality and data integrity.
  • Support project governance and quality standards.
  • Contribute to risk reduction during major transformation initiatives.

Essential Testing Skills

  • Test case design and execution

  • Regression testing
  • Defect lifecycle management
  • Test reporting
  • Requirements traceability

Financial Services Expertise

Preferred experience includes:
