Our client is a well-established manufacturing business located on the northern end of the Gold Coast. They are looking for an experienced Accounts Receivable Officer to step in and keep the wheels turning during a busy period.
This is a 3-month temporary assignment, offering flexibility and a professional, down-to-earth finance team.
About the Role
You’ll work in a small AR team, ensuring that cash flow stays healthy and customers are well looked after. Your responsibilities will include:
- Receipting and allocating payments
- Reconciling debtor accounts
- Following up outstanding balances in a firm but professional manner
- Managing claims and resolving discrepancies
- Data entry and maintenance of accrual trackers in Excel
- Providing backup support for order processing when required
- Responding to customer queries, primarily relating to orders and AR
About You
You’re someone who knows AR inside out and doesn’t need hand-holding. You’re comfortable picking things up quickly, are a clear and concise communicator, and understand the importance of accuracy. Solid Excel skills are a must, and a practical, no-nonsense attitude will see you fit right in.
