Accountant

An opportunity for a qualified Accountant to step into a broad role with exposure to reporting, grant acquittals, budgeting, forecasting and stakeholder support.

You will contribute across month-end processes, reconciliations, statutory reporting, grant acquittals, audit support, budgeting and variance analysis. There is also a stakeholder-facing element to the role, with the opportunity to work alongside operational leaders and provide practical financial support across the business. It will give you exposure to a more complex environment than a standard transactional accounting role, along with the chance to strengthen your reporting capability, build experience in funded programs and develop broader commercial judgement. To be considered, you will need tertiary qualifications in Accounting, Finance or Business and current CPA or CA membership. You will bring previous experience in a broad accounting role, along with sound technical capability across reporting, reconciliations and month-end processes. Strong Excel skills are important, as is the ability to work accurately, identify discrepancies and manage competing deadlines. Experience in a not-for-profit, government-funded or similarly regulated environment will be highly regarded.
