About the Company
Davidson is partnering with a state government client who is seeking an experienced AO7 Project Manager/Implementation Officer to join their Insurance and Risk Branch on a temporary full-time basis. This 6-month contract offers a unique opportunity to lead and deliver process improvement initiatives within a legal services environment.
About the Role
This role will work closely with the Deputy Crown Solicitor to implement a range of recommendations aimed at enhancing operational efficiency and service quality across the Insurance and Risk Branch. The successful candidate will lead project delivery, collaborate with legal and administrative teams, and ensure governance and compliance standards are met.
Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:
- Lead the implementation of process improvement recommendations across legal and paralegal teams.
- Collaborate with legal teams, IT specialists, and senior management to ensure consistent and effective systems and procedures.
- Deliver governance and compliance reporting aligned with organisational standards.
- Build strong working relationships across the branch to support collaborative project delivery.
- Manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously with a high level of organisation and attention to detail.
About You
To be successful in this role, you will be:
- Solutions-focused and capable of driving initiatives independently.
- Skilled in building strong relationships across diverse teams.
- A self-motivated problem-solver with a track record of delivering results.
- Experienced in managing projects within legal or similar professional services environments.
You will also bring:
- 2–6 years of management experience.
- Legal industry experience.
- Strong project and time management skills.
- Excellent attention to detail and drafting capabilities.
