Davidson may act as a private employment agent in Queensland. Before we provide placement or employment services to you, we are required to give you the following information.


Your Rights

  • No fees payable: We will not and must not charge you any fee for finding, or attempting to find, work for you.
  • Honest and fair conduct: We will and must act honestly, fairly and in your best interests at all times.
  • No misleading representations: We will and must not make false, misleading or deceptive statements.
  • Right to end the relationship: You may end your relationship with Davidson at any time by notifying us

 

Our Obligations

  • Compliance with laws: All placements made by Davidson will comply with relevant Commonwealth and State legislation, including workplace relations, work health and safety, anti-discrimination and immigration laws.
  • Conflicts of interest: If we also act for a prospective employer or receive a benefit from an employer, we will manage any conflict of interest.
  • Privacy and records: We will protect your personal information and maintain appropriate records in accordance with the Code (ss 10–11) and the Privacy Act 1988 (Cth).
  • Knowledge of legal requirements: Our employees have an understanding of the State and Commonwealth laws relating to the placement and employment of work seekers.


Concerns or Complaints

  • If you believe Davidson has acted illegally, inappropriately, or in a false or misleading way, you may seek advice or lodge a complaint with the Queensland Office of Industrial Relations:
