About the Company
An opportunity is available for an experienced Principal Project Manager
to lead complex ICT infrastructure and construction-related projects within a large Queensland Government environment. Working across major infrastructure upgrades, you will coordinate construction activities, ICT delivery, specialist vendors and multidisciplinary teams while ensuring critical services remain operational throughout delivery. The role is based in Fortitude Valley
and is expected to operate predominantly onsite, five days per week*
About the Role
This is a senior delivery role requiring strong ownership of multiple parallel, complex and high-risk projects from planning through to implementation.
- Lead multiple concurrent ICT infrastructure and construction-related projects
- Coordinate major works, specialist ICT vendors, subcontractors and delivery teams
- Manage project scope, schedules, budgets, risks, issues and delivery performance
- Minimise operational disruption while delivering works in a live environment
- Lead, guide and mentor multidisciplinary project teams throughout the lifecycle
- Produce project reporting, briefs, submissions and presentations for senior stakeholders
About You
You will be an experienced Project Manager with a track record delivering complex infrastructure and technology projects where operational continuity cannot be compromised.
- Significant experience leading large-scale, complex and high-risk projects
- Strong ICT infrastructure delivery experience alongside construction or major works
- Experience delivering within live, operationally critical environments
- Proven ability to manage multiple multidisciplinary teams, vendors and subcontractors
- Strong stakeholder management, negotiation, consultation and influencing capability
- Strong knowledge of formal project management methodologies, ideally PRINCE2
- Willing to travel to different sites as required, Driving Liscence highly desireable
