Ivalua Application Specialist

About the Company

Our client is a leading Australian organisation with a large and complex technology environment. As part of the continued evolution of its enterprise platforms, they are seeking an experienced Ivalua Application Specialist to take ownership of their Ivalua procurement platform and support its ongoing optimisation and development.

About the Role

The Ivalua Application Specialist will act as the internal functional SME for the Ivalua platform, with responsibility for its ongoing maintenance, upgrades, feature releases and continuous improvement.



Working closely with business stakeholders, IT teams and external partners, you will ensure Ivalua continues to meet business and procurement requirements while supporting future enhancements and functionality.


Key responsibilities include:

  • Own the ongoing maintenance, upgrades and optimisation of Ivalua
  • Coordinate feature releases, platform enhancements and system improvements
  • Partner with procurement and business stakeholders to identify improvement opportunities
  • Assess requirements and the feasibility of system modifications and enhancements
  • Support platform governance, roadmaps and future planning
  • Balance day-to-day application support with strategic enhancements and projects
  • Oversee data governance, platform security and compliance
  • Support integrations between Ivalua and other enterprise applications, including Workday
  • Work closely with Ivalua, support vendors and systems integration partners

About You

You will be an experienced Ivalua specialist with strong functional knowledge of procurement technology and the ability to take ownership of a business-critical enterprise application.

Ideally, you will bring:

  • 3+ years' experience supporting Ivalua configuration or a comparable procurement platform
  • Strong Ivalua functional knowledge across supplier and procurement processes
  • Strong understanding of Ivalua security and platform administration
  • Experience supporting and managing enterprise procurement applications
  • Experience with application upgrades, releases, configuration and enhancements
  • Strong understanding of Source-to-Pay and procurement processes
  • Experience working with enterprise application integrations
  • Strong stakeholder and vendor management skills
  • Ability to work across business, technical and external delivery teams
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
