Central Highlands Water (CHW) provides drinking water, sewerage, trade waste and recycled water services to residents and businesses in the Central Highlands region of Victoria. The organisation is currently seeking to employ a high performing individual who excels equally across people leadership, stakeholder management and the provision of technical advice with regards to residential, commercial and industrial water connections.
Reporting to the Manager of Growth and Development, the Team Leader - Technical Services & Connections will liaise with and advise regularly to developers, builders, plumbers, the general public and other industry partners on a range of issues relating to new connections and the development and implementation of service schemes. In a high volume, issues rich environment, the Team Leader - Technical Services & Connections will coordinate the efficient and effective delivery of services relating to the processing of applications for residential, commercial and industrial water connections, non-works development, and build-over easement requests. With a customer focus, the Team Leader - Technical Services & Connections will be proactive in identifying opportunities for continuous improvement in systems and processes to drive exceptional customer experience.
You are a great communicator, with a strong ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders and your team. Your background may be in engineering or aligned areas such as building, plumbing, architecture, design or a relevant technical field enabling you to quickly grasp the technical elements of the role including providing advice to key stakeholders. You will have a genuine desire to provide excellent leadership to a small customer focused team fielding a high volume of technical enquiries. Importantly, your proven stakeholder engagement and customer service skills will be instrumental to succeeding in this role. You are a driven leader that is passionate about the positive effect your role and your team has on the success of our business and the community.
