With the $250m redevelopment of the Ipswich Central precinct, they are building the capability of their team. Currently they have a requirement for an outcome-focused leader to Chair the Retail Sub-Committee for the project on a part-time basis. This is an opportunity to be a part of one of the most exciting urban redevelopments in South East Queensland.
The Retail Sub-Committee's charter is to provide governance and strategic direction for the planning, development and delivery of the retail and commercial assets included in Ipswich Central. This role will see you endorsing masterplans, business cases, tenancy agreements and major procurement activities for the project. Managing risk will also be a focus for the committee, as will ensuring alignment with the long-term vision for this rapidly expanding city.
To be a successful Chair on this committee you will operate at Senior Executive level and have extensive experience in the retail and commercial property sector. You will have the ability to lead, solve problems and influence at the senior stakeholder level. Experience on a large urban redevelopment project will be highly regarded.
