The Organisation

The Role
The Senior Transport Planner will bring transport expertise to a number of complex and multi-disciplinary projects, which address inner-city transport and parking management issues including policy gaps at a whole of city and municipality level. They will;

  • Lead the development and delivery of complex and multi-disciplinary projects
  • Lead parking and transport investigations and analysis
  • Lead research and preparation of the integrated transport planning
  • Liaise with Victorian Government departments, transport agencies, adjoining Councils and other stakeholders with respect to transport planning and development issues
  • Take a lead role in the co-ordination of transport planning and investigations

The Requirements

  • A relevant tertiary qualification
  • At least 5 years experience as a Transport Planner in Australia (ideally in local government)
  • A proven track record in in applying principles of integrated transport planning, urban design and the planning system, at the local government level
