My client, a major player in the Securities Exchange Domain, is known for being an employee focussed organization with excellent brand name and enviable work culture and is based in Sydney CBD.

About the Role

Bring your Quantitative development skills and thinking to support and guide the desired results. This is a permanent full time role created to support an exciting transformation journey the client is embarking on

Skills and Experience Required:
* Significant quantitative developer experience in banking/finance or related environment
* Solid .NET/C# and SQL skills
* Tertiary Qualifications in a quantitative field (mathematics, statistics, engineering, quantitative finance, etc.)
* Experienced with all stages of designing, building, testing and deploying code into production.
* Demonstrated experience working with Git, Confluence, JIRA, CI/CD systems (Jenkins/TeamCity/GoCD)
* Agile experience highly regarded
* Deep understanding of exchange traded and OTC products (rates and equities), derivatives pricing and market data and conventions

Desirable Skills and Experience:

  • Experience in Central Counterparties Clearing Risk
    * Broad understanding of the RBA's Financial Stability Standards (FSS) for Central Counterparties
    * Experience with Statistical analysis and modelling
    * Experience working with Excel/VBA, R, Python
