To support this evolution a role has become available for a Senior Project Manager to join the Major Projects team to successfully deliver projects from feasibility to construction.
Reporting to the Major Projects Lead, the Senior Project Manager will apply advanced project and construction management expertise to successfully lead the end-to-end delivery of projects within the Bayside City Council Major Projects portfolio.
With successful project delivery being the key focus, the Project Manager will be responsible for ensuring that projects are completed within timeframes and budget allocations. Procurement and contract management will be a key part of your role, as will internal and external stakeholder management.
Your exposure to contemporary project management issues, legislation, concepts, and techniques will allow you to confidently step into this role, managing a small portfolio of major projects for Bayside City Council. You will have a sound understanding of design and construction methodologies, as well as the ability to confidently manage contractors. Your drive and energy will contribute to the overall success of the project.
