My client is a privately owned awarding wining business with the kitchen and bathroom sector with multi-award-winning building and design awards for their stunning designs, their clients are based throughout the greater Brisbane area they specialise within the prestigious luxury product range. They are able to offer full-service to clients from initial consult to floor plan design right through to build execution offering more than their competitors. The power of "word of mouth" has been very successful for them as they have obtained a great deal of business through this along with walk-in customers to their prestigious showroom.

About the Role
The role is based in their East Brisbane head office/showroom - you will be the first point of contact for the customer when they walk through the door, you will provide clients with a warm/friendly and engaging greeting with the ability to read your client base. There to walk them through products/showroom and provide them with different options for their price point you will them take them through the journey of piecing the dream bathroom/kitchen together for them and convert their dream into a reality to point of signing contracts.

  • Greeting customers
  • Initial consultation on product
  • Working with the customer to build desired bathroom/kitchen plans
  • Building relationships working closely with builders / Project Managers
  • Sending out quotes to customers
  • Receiving of deliveries into the warehouse
  • Data entry on products through Xero software
  • Point of sale invoicing and receipting through Vend
  • Ordering of inventory items
  • General basic housekeeping duties of tidying showroom

This is a part-time role hours of work: Monday / Wednesday are essential days 9am -5 pm
Thursday or Friday (flexible on which day)
Saturday 10 am to 2 pm
*They will consider school hours over five days a week - however, every Saturday is essential

About You

  • You will have come from a background in Construction, plumbing, kitchen or bathroom sales or design
  • Basic/intermediate computer skills MS Word / Excel and outlook (will also be using Vend and Xero)
  • Ability to engage with clients and understand requirements
  • Assisting customer with design and advice on selections
  • Liaising with suppliers to order items and ensuring response timeframes are met
  • Great attitude and a willingness to be a positive team player
  • Strong organisation skills and good time management
  • Self-starter with a strong work ethic
  • Previous interior design experience within the bathroom and kitchen space would be a strong advantage
