This role of Project Manager is a crucial role to the overall success of the Education Services department. You will lead the delivery of targeted project work focussed on managing the delivery of the Quality 2022 Plan of work which includes 7 complex projects and targeted project work. These projects relate to registration as RTO with ASQA, CRICOS and VRQA embedding quality and compliance into the Education Plan deliverables and fall under People and Culture, Systems and Processes Technology. This role will be responsible for managing all elements of the program over their full lifecycle, using project management methodology within the Governments procurement environment. At times you will call upon experts across the campus to support the projects as required. More specifically, you will be responsible for the development of appropriate project documentation to support the successful delivery of the project, including but not limited to, a Project Plan, Project Schedule, Risks and Issues Register and a Benefits Realisation Plan. You will also provide subject matter expertise to key stakeholders about the re-registration stream of work and other activities as delegated by the Chief Academic Officer.
To be successful in this role, you will bring a broad range of experience and have the natural ability to schedule and control a diverse range of projects. You will have developed your project management career within a highly regulated and operational environment such as education, health or within a state or federal government department. You have extensive stakeholder management experience working within project environments and coordinating resources. A sound understanding of good governance, reporting and quality measures will set you up for success. You are an inclusive project manager with a hands on attitude and a natural flare and ability to make process improvements within a dynamic environment.
