About the Company
I am working with a client in the banking sector who is seeking a PMO Master Scheduler to join the existing separation program. Contract for 6 months with possible extension - start date in May 2020.

About the Role
As part of the PMO Team, you will be primarily involved in managing the end-to-end schedule for the delivery team. Part of your remit includes:

  • Ensuring that the team meets the forecast & contractual deliverables and creating status updates
  • Driving effective reporting on milestone management & dependencies
  • Reviewing baseline plans including performing quality control on all inputs to the plan & engaging respective streams and team on impacts to plan
  • Translating projected forecasts, incoming volume and work scopes into a plan with a time-phased build schedule
  • Establishing strong relationships with Project Managers (PMs) to determine weekly inbound forecast and develop models to improve accuracy
  • Establishing KPIs of forecast accuracy
  • Scheduling and providing accurate commitment dates to vendors and partners
  • Assembling master schedule reporting regarding performance to the business case, and the contract plan
  • Providing input to finance on planning process, concerning incoming resource volume and capacity
  • Identifying change requests and applying plan changes to re-baseline approved changes
  • Creating information walls and manage and update according to operational rhythm
  • Creating new reporting and conform to existing standard reporting
  • Managing load levelling and bottleneck scheduling and track assumptions for more accurate scheduling.

Role is based in North Sydney.

About You
To be successful for this role, you will have:

  • Strong experience in the effective management of resources to meet milestones and contractual deliverables for large & complex bodies of work
  • Knowledge of JIRA and MSP
  • Demonstrable capabilities in forecasting plus risk and impact analysis including mitigation
  • Thrive in building relationships and producing the right outcomes
  • Enjoy anticipating issues or risks and finding effective solutions
  • Experience in the banking or insurance sector
  • Previous experience in privacy and regulation is an advantage
  • De-merger or divestiture experience is a bonus
