As the Performance Analyst you will be responsible for the project and program control management, performance analysis and group reporting within the projects group. Your role will ensure that all project and program are adequately controlled and reported on based on the performance of schedule, costs and safety targets. You will deliver strong stakeholder management to support the projects group and broader business to ensure financial expectations, performance and regulatory reporting are met at all times.

About you:

  • Excellent communication (written and verbally) skills to proactively engage with customers and key stakeholders, with limited assistance
  • Ability to work positively and proactively within a team environment - team focused
  • Problem solving skills - rapidly identifies solutions by applying knowledge of products and services
  • Ability to prioritise competing activities in a timely manner
  • Previous Project financial management experience
  • Proven reporting experience in business and projects environment
  • Demonstrated willingness to adapt to work volumes and track against Key Performance Metrics
  • Able to prioritise customer outcomes and promote continuous improvement of digital platforms and processes

Your responsibilities:

  • Support the project team in performance analysis and reporting in delivering the capital works programs
  • Reviews of all key risk registers, operational data and and contract KPI
  • Analysing operational data and making proactive recommendations to reduce risks and elevate performance outcomes
  • Monitor processes and procedures for compliance against project and functional requirements
  • Develop, maintain and update performance monitoring tools and dashboards
  • Contribute to routine operational performance meetings and reporting
  • Maintaining the validity of all performance data
  • Supporting the implementation of new processes, procedures and project requirements
  • Accountable for providing professional, accurate and timely system advice to staff regarding energy connect, SAP, Salesforce around finances and reporting
  • Monitoring cost efficiency benefits from within the program focusing on short and long term gains
