About the Role
As the Payroll Officer you will be responsible for assisting the Payroll Mananager with the processing of weekly, fortnightly and monthly payrolls. This is an end-to-end payroll position and includes the set-up of new starters, processing terminations and managing leave records. You will prepare, balance and reconcile payroll tax, PAYG and superannuation and comply with all relevant legislation.
You will be responsible for maintaining accurate personnel files and databases at an audit standard, and maintain an awareness of all relevant legislation with regards to payroll.
You must have a minimum three years' experience with payroll processing and have a high level of accuracy with strong attention to detail. A knowlege of MYOB, Chris 21 or Oracle would be an advantage.
