St Germain Property Group (SGPG) are a family-owned property developer with a 20-year history of developing medical, commercial, and residential projects across Melbourne's south-east. In 2009 they started a project in Clyde North called St Germain. St Germain is today a showcase development in the region, and when completed will encompass more than 1500 residential dwellings, a well-planned town centre, medical facilities and other commercial aspects. With five residential stages left to be released plus medium and high density, the focus is now shifting to the commercial stages of the development, and SGPG are seeking a talented Operations Manager to play a leadership role into this next exciting stage of the project.

Reporting to the Managing Director, the Operations Manager will lead the day-to-day operations of the business, ensuring continuity of the program and working with consultants to ensure the master plan is being delivered effectively, and that milestones are being met. The Operations Manager will report on progress to the Managing Director, work with the financial team to manage financial and non-financial risks and ensure cost-effective delivery of the project. Additionally, the Operations Manager will promote strong relationships and communication, and demonstrate effective management of people.

To be successful for this position you will have significant practical experience within the residential or commercial development sectors. You will have worked with a developer, consultancy, or client-side organisation to deliver exceptional projects, and will have the energy, creativity, and lateral thought to deliver to the highest standards. Your stakeholder engagement skills will be exemplary, and you will be comfortable managing relationships with consultants including civils, architects, project managers, and sales and leasing agents.

The St Germain project has 10+ years of life left in it, and beyond this project the SGPG will look to what other projects may arise. This is a long-term career opportunity for an energetic and experienced professional who is ready to step up into a senior leadership role within a small but powerful organisation.
