About the Company

Davidson have partnered with an Australian owner and operator of investment, asset management and consultancy services in the agricultural industry. Due to extensive growth, they are now looking for an experienced Operations Manager to manage the day to day operations of their livestock exchange, based in regional NSW Central West.

About the Role


Reporting directly to the Regional Manager, responsibilities include:

  • Management of the day to day operations of a busy livestock exchange (LX)
  • Ensure site is properly maintained and any maintenance is carried out and documented
  • Management of the activities on site on both sale-day and non-sale days, ensuring efficient throughput of livestock
  • Oversee and complete works form approved OPEX and CAPEX budgets
  • Ensure facility is led to required compliance standards & complies to all WH&S legislation
  • Ensuring site complies to all EHS standards
  • Engage in the broader to community to promote the commercial and economic benefits of the LX through community engagement

About You

To be successful as the Operations Manager you will possess the following attributes:

  • Qualifications in agriculture or related discipline/previous experience
  • Ideally 10 years' experience working within an agriculture related field
  • Excellent communication skills across various stakeholder levels
  • Proficient in various computer programmes; MS Project, Word, Excel etc
  • Current Drivers licence/ Firearms licence/ First Aid Certificate
