Reporting to the General Manager Governance and Engagement, the Manager People and Culture will position themselves as a valued partner and trusted adviser providing strategic direction and inspirational leadership across whole of Council. You will develop short, medium and long term strategies and identify and implement cultural change and workforce improvement initiatives to build the internal capacity and capability of the organisation to deliver performance excellence that meets the changing nature and expectations of the Darebin community and legislative requirements. The Manager P&C also has a key role as ambassador for organisational culture and values, ensuring they are visible, embedded and upheld.
To be successful in this critical role, the City of Darebin are seeking to appoint a contemporary, strategic and innovative leader, who has a reputation for creating a collaborative high performing organisational culture. You will be politically astute, responsive and agile, with the capacity to drive change and deliver outcomes aligned with Council's priorities and goals. With outstanding communication and engagement skills and sound financial and project management skills, you are visionary, practical and realistic.
