Reporting to a contemporary General Manager City Assets and Environment, the Manager Open Space will form an integral member of the senior leadership team. Bringing a future focused strategic lens to open space planning and management, you will lead a contemporary approach to service delivery, have a 'Customer First' focus and provide inspirational leadership to support a motivated team. Concurrently, you will enhance collaboration with other organisation leaders, develop new strategies and policies, and strategically identify opportunities for further improvement.
To be successful in this role, the General Manager City Assets and Environment is seeking a contemporary, inspirational and dynamic senior leader with expertise in the natural environment, sports fields and open space management. We are looking for proven expertise managing diverse teams and stakeholders within a complex multidisciplinary organisation and demonstration of strong community values. Political astuteness and exceptional communication and stakeholder engagement skills will be highly regarded.
