Reporting to the Director, Community Services, the Manager Arts and Libraries will lead, manage and champion the arts, library and festival/events portfolios, including the Monash Gallery of Art (MGA), ensuring high standards of delivery while fostering and delivering innovative new ideas, programs and strategies that support the needs and expectations of the Monash community.
This role offers an exciting opportunity to shape, lead and manage a range of programs, services and events that genuinely make a difference to the lives of the diverse and multicultural Monash community.
To be successful in this role, the City of Monash is seeking a contemporary, strategic and visionary Local Government leader who has experience in the portfolio or related community services and who is passionate about the role that arts, libraries and events play in creating healthy, resilient communities.
Politically astute, you are adept at forming strong and collaborative relationships with stakeholders both internal and external to your organisation. You demonstrate a strong commitment to continuous improvement and are highly regarded for your exceptional people leadership and ability to cultivate high performing teams.
