Our client is a large Financial Services company that is currently undergoing a large digital transformation. They are seeking an individual who can design and deliver on the Target State.
About the Role
The Lead Practice Architect will joining a high performing team comprised of Product Owners, Change Managers, Chief Engineers, Solution Architects and Program Managers. This position will have two direct reports comprised of a Cloud and Infrastructure specialists.
The Lead Practice Architect will be responsible for driving the Cloud and Infrastructure practice across the entire enterprise while maintaining hands-on control and direction over the strategy, road maps, architecture practice, the team, stakeholders and have a great understanding of processes and procedures surrounding technology. The Target State refers to the anatomy and road maps that need to be developed in the host services that sit within the Cloud and Infrastructure practice.
To be successful in this role you will have underling characteristics that enables you to work in agile teams, be autonomous and self-govern. You will have an extensive background in Cloud and Infrastructure that has seen you hold various senior positons in engineering and architecture. You will have solid cloud-native experience within AWS and/or Azure. You will have an underlining passion for modern architecture having been heavily involved in event-driven or data-driven architecture while possessing knowledge around Kubernetes. You have a good record of accomplishment of being able to build scalable Cloud and Infrastructure solutions, while providing blueprints & technology roadmaps. In regards to the softer skills, you will be joining a people orientate company so it is expected that you are collaborative by nature, have conflict resolution experience and you can build strong genuine relationships.
