The HR Business Partner will be responsible for implementing a business partner model which will strengthen and enhance wellbeing, diversity and equity. They will also oversee the implementation and monitoring of HR systems and processes that improve the HR function. A key deliverable of this role will be to change the perception of how HR is currently perceived and this is done by changing the organisational culture. The HR Business Partner will also provide an opportunity for organisational development for individual employees.
To be successful in this role you will have a relevant tertiary qualification in Human Resources, coupled with a strong HR generalist or HR business partner experience and a thorough understanding of HR functions in large complex organisations. You have a proven background in either local government, statutory authorities, education or the health sector. You are well versed in stakeholder management, change management and understanding HR data and metrics. You are resilient in nature, have a high level of empathy, political nuance and maturity, as well as a genuine passion for making a positive difference on people's lives.
The role will be based in the CBD but will require some regional travel to ensure a true partnership with teams, as well as to promote and instill a centralized HR function.
