Our local government client has an immediate requirement for an experienced GIS Officer to join their team on an initial 3 month contract.
This role is required to conduct spatial analysis of data, more specifically, analysis of infrastructure networks, to support effective planning, design, investment and delivery of local government infrastructure
To be considered for this role, applicants would need to demonstrate the following skills:
- Relevant qualifications in geospatial information systems and demonstrated experience in GIS activities
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- This role is within a team that undertakes long term planning for local government infrastructure such as parks, roads and stormwater. Understanding of planning and design processes for local government or water and sewerage infrastructure is highly desirable.
A current, valid "C" Class driver license is essential for this position, as is a valid General Safety Induction Card.
