UCQ plays a critical role in delivering key services to the communities in which it operates. The property portfolio plays a critical role in delivering these services.


About Your Opportunity

This newly created role comes after a restructure of the Property Group. UCQ has been working with a top tier management consultancy to develop their 2030 vision and subsequent transformation strategy - including functional efficiency. Execution of this strategy of physical renewal (in particular, the hospital and aged-care assets) is vital. Having recently appointed a Group General Manager to oversee the property strategy, they are now seeking a General Manager Project Delivery to focus on the delivery of a significant pipeline of projects in the next ten years.

Execution of the projects (including both greenfield and physical renewal of assets) is essential to the success of the business. This is a great execution role for one of the largest property portfolios in the State. Your opportunity will be to develop robust project methodology to ensure rigorous project delivery. Your team of Development Managers, Commissioning Experts and Project Managers will look to you for leadership in this regard. You will also manage external consultant teams.


About You

This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Delivery Executive to join this organisation and have real input into not only project delivery, but how projects will be delivered. Absolutely key to your success will be your ability to build relationships with key internal stakeholders to engender confidence in your team's ability to deliver. This role will require a strong leader who can cultivate a high performance culture - with all projects delivered on time and on budget, with great reporting processes in place to allow the Board visibility across your activities.
