About the Role

The General Manager People & Culture is responsible for developing and implementing contemporary strategies to build organisational capability and efficiency. A key focus is to lead a team to provide expert HR, IR and WHS advice including interpreting and applying of relevant legislation, managing complex cases and supporting the management and executive team in building workforce capability. You will be responsible for the following services:

  • Health, Safety and Training
  • Employment and Industrial Relations
  • Learning and Development
  • Recruitment Services
  • Workers Compensation and Injury Management

About You

We are seeking experienced professionals with the appropriate tertiary qualification in Business, Human Resources or Industrial Relations, Law, Health and Safety, Psychology or related discipline. You will have extensive experience leading a high performing team of professionals and a demonstrated ability to negotiate and manage industrial relations and WHS matters, including experience in managing a range of blue and white-collar workforces.

With a pragmatic and customer-centric leadership approach you will have the competence and confidence to successfully influence the Executive and Leadership team and see your success through the achievement of outcomes that align with the Corporate and Operational Plan.
