The City of Lismore is the commercial and cultural hub of the Northern Rivers, providing many of the region's major services and facilities. As General Manager, you will lead a team of 450 staff to establish Council's reputation as a professional, transparent and efficient organisation. The community is at the heart of everything that we do, so you will be a visible leader who can engage widely across the full spectrum of residents in our LGA, with the ability to foster a sense of connection and pride.

To be successful in this role you will be future focused with the ability to strategically enable the Council and your team. You will have strong business acumen and solid financial management experience, allowing you to think commercially and drive economic outcomes. Your senior executive experience, ideally within local government or a similar environment, gives you a deep understanding of the issues affecting regional communities and the political factors impacting local services, economy and infrastructure. You are recognised as a transparent leader with high integrity and ownership of organisational performance, and can inspire trust in your board of management, stakeholders and broader community.
