The Melbourne & Olympic Parks Trust (M&OP) manages one of the world's greatest and most loved sporting, entertainment and community precincts for the benefit of all Victorians.

As a precinct spanning 40 hectares, Melbourne & Olympic Parks has grown and evolved significantly over 100 years to cater for Victoria's passion for sport and entertainment, boasting world class venues such as Rod Laver Arena, AAMI Park, Margaret Court Arena and Melbourne Arena and many more that can transform to meet the needs of a variety of events and audiences year-round.

In an average year prior to Covid-19 the precinct welcomes more than 2.5 million visitors, notably hosting the Australian Open and the city's most celebrated national and international, sports and entertainment events. It is home to ten national sporting teams, upwards of 900 community activities and 470 contracted days across its venues each year. The organisation is currently in the planning phase of Covid-19 recovery for Victoria.

Reporting to the Chief Financial Officer, you will be responsible for leading a small team and driving best practice to ensure high levels of engagement and support to the wider organisation. You will ensure the team is delivering timely and accurate monthly reporting to the business and government and providing the necessary support and advice to senior leaders that goes beyond the numbers. A key component of this role will focus on enhancing business systems and processes to ensure new ways of working.

You are renowned for your exception interpersonal skills and high energy levels. Degree qualified and CPA/CA qualified is a key requirement for this role, together with your can do attitude and your willingness to roll up your sleeves and support your team. You are a customer centric and confident leader who is experienced in change management and service improvement. An understanding of government reporting would be highly desirable, however not essential. Your commercial savviness and proven experience presenting to an Executive Management team and delivering results on time is essential.
