Our client is a leading and well respected not-for-profit organisation working with the community to enhance services and programs that benefit Deaf and hard of hearing adults and children across Australia. Our client is an organisation that has resulted from the recent merger of two organisations, Deaf Services Limited and the Deaf Society. The businesses currently have operations in New South Wales, Queensland, Australian Capital Territory and the Northern Territory and have plans for further growth and expansion.

Having experienced significant growth over the last 5 years the organisation is entering into the next stage of its development and is seeking an experienced Executive Manager, People and Culture to provide strategic and people centric leadership and guide it through this growth period.

This is an incredible opportunity for a high performing HR professional to lead the People and Culture Group playing a critical role as Deaf Services seeks to drive innovation and strategies. You will lead the areas of Organisational Capability, Regulatory Compliance, Quality & Risk HR & Business Partnering, Industrial Relations, Attraction and Recruitment Support, WHS and Wellbeing. You will be expected to develop a robust framework around performance improvement.

Reporting to the CEO, you will be a senior HR leader who thrives on the diversity and opportunity offered within the community services sector. In previous roles, you have demonstrated the ability to influence across a large organisation and drive and implement HR strategies. You will be comfortable leading Industrial Relations matters; overseeing organisational development and culture change programs as well as a rigorous approach to Workplace Health and Safety and demonstrate proven success in high growth service delivery organisations.

It is essential that you have the appropriate tertiary qualifications in Human Resource Management or a related field. Successful candidates will be subject to satisfactory background and probity checks.

An understanding of the not-for-profit organisation will be well regarded.
