About the Role

The Executive Director Clinical Governance and Performance (ED) will lead a team of professionals to identify, interpret and analyse population health data to inform operational program planning and provide clinical governance across the organisation. The ED provides strategic clinical governance and service delivery input, advice and support to the Leadership Team and oversees the Implementation and management of organisational planning, evaluation and reporting frameworks.

The ED plays a pivotal role in representing NQPHN externally, and actively participates and engages in meetings and forums, providing expert advice and guidance to influence planning, reform and policy development.

About You

To be considered for this critical role you will be a relevant clinical practitioner with experience in clinical governance, having led a team of professionals in a changing environment.

You will be adept in the development and maintenance of senior level working relationships with consumers and the community and relevant service providers. It is imperative that you possess knowledge of the Australian health care system, particularly mental health and experience working at a senior level with health practitioners.

Tertiary qualifications in a relevant discipline are essential.
