Baw Baw Shire Council is located approximately one hour east of Melbourne at the gateway to the Gippsland region. Supporting a municipality of more than 48,000 residents, including many small and remote communities, the region is experiencing exponential growth and expects to provide services to more than 70,000 people by 2030. This growth has been spurred on due to the region's close proximity to Melbourne, fantastic schools, affordable housing, snow-fields and world-class hiking and biking tracks.
