The Melbourne & Olympic Parks Trust (M&OP) manages one of the world's greatest and most loved sporting, entertainment and community precincts for the benefit of all Victorians. As a precinct spanning 40 hectares, Melbourne & Olympic Parks boasts world class venues such as Rod Laver Arena, AAMI Park, Margaret Court Arena and Melbourne Arena.
Reporting to the COO and being a vital part of the M&OP leadership team, this role is responsible for the strategic and operational oversight of all activities related to the planning and delivery of M&OP's facilities maintenance, asset management, major capital works and environmental sustainability. Overseeing one of the world's largest entertainment precincts, you will drive performance excellence in infrastructure management to maximise value for the organisation and community. You will leverage relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders including contractors, service providers and venue hirers to deliver outcomes and ensure compliance with the asset management framework.
A recognised and respected Infrastructure leader you bring extensive experience in leading an infrastructure or asset management function in an environment with significant visitation. You pride yourself on your technical expertise in all aspects of design, development and delivery of construction and facilities maintenance and have a thorough understanding of procurement, financial management, contracts and the relationship between planning, design, construction and environmental management in a project delivery environment. You have experience in developing business cases for asset maintenance investments and are well regarded for providing direction and strategic reporting and advice to executive teams and boards.
