About the Role
Reporting to the Executive Director Transport Planning, the Director Network and Corridor Planning will provide strategic leadership to a division responsible for undertaking network planning for the whole of the State's transport network, taking a holistic, long-term approach to develop network, corridor, sub-regional plans, interchange planning; and heavy vehicle services. The Director is responsible for leading and managing the delivery of network planning to achieve simple, connected journeys and for providing a whole-of-network view for key stakeholders including other divisions of DoT, Local Government, project delivery authorities and other government departments.
You bring an impressive blend of technical and senior leadership capabilities with proven experience working in a large complex organisation, ideally within the broader public sector (or with proven political acumen). You are known for your engaging interpersonal style and outstanding stakeholder negotiation skills, with a demonstrated capability to advise and negotiate outcomes with key internal and external stakeholders. You are respected for your transformational leadership and ability to enhance capability and collaboration in multi-disciplinary teams of senior staff and technical professional to delivery measurable sustained outcomes.
