Reporting to the CEO, this role will be pivotal in supporting the 30 year vision for a Clever and Creative City. You will take the lead in providing strong strategic financial planning, digital and information technology initiatives, property projects and procurement transformation across the organisation. With this dynamic portfolio you will provide high level strategic advice to the CEO and Councillors. You will collaborate and engage with key stakeholders to drive sustainable financial performance, best practice strategic planning and ensure Council has a maximum return for a diverse range of initiatives, including: a 10 year financial plan and a large scale civic accommodation project.

With your strong sense of political savviness, you are able to confidently engage with Council, the community and create productive and trusted relationships.
