My client is a privately owned Australia based multi-award-winning professional services organisation working with clients on a national basis throughout their 42 offices throughout Australia and over 400 staff. About the Role

The role of Credit Controller will be working a team of eleven within this fast-paced credit environment reporting directly to the credit manager you will be responsible for your own ledger made up of around 300 active commercial accounts including two major clients totally an overall dollar value of $6M some of the daily tasks will include;

  • Collections of overdue accounts
  • Follow up and resolving purchase order queries
  • Reconciliation of customer accounts
  • Liaise and build strong relationships with clients and internal team members
  • Working as part of a larger credit team and contributing to the reduction of the DSO
  • Actively contributing to weekly team meetings
  • Attend meeting throughout the years with Account Managers and Clients on an ad-hoc basis

About You

You will have come from a commercial credit background ideally within a fast-paced environment you will have the ability to self-motivate and work autonomously as well as part of a team along with the following experience;

  • 3-4 Years Commercial Credit Control experience
  • Ability to work to strict deadlines
  • Previous experience with large blue-chip accounts
  • Excel - intermediate level
  • Excellent communication skills both written and verbal
  • Ability to build relationship skills both internal and external
  • Excellent time management skills and attention to detail
