About the Opportunity
Furphy & Sons are seeking a contemporary CA or CPA qualified finance leader who will perform a key leadership role in formulating the company's future direction, supporting tactical growth initiatives and ensuring the long-term financial viability and success of the organisation.
Reporting to the Managing Director, the CFO will manage the administrative, financial, and risk management operations of the Furphy Group while providing strategic, trusted advice and support to the Group Managing Director and to the General Managers of the four business entities within the Furphy Group. Furthermore, the CFO will collaborate widely across the business and support them in enhancing their financial nous and individual business growth plans through enhanced systems, processes and reporting methods.
To be considered for this enviable opportunity, you will be a naturally engaging people person who quickly builds trust with their key stakeholders. You bring demonstrated experience leading a finance function in a medium to large organisation and you are CA/CPA qualified with a background in Financial Accounting, Management Accounting, data analysis, corporate governance, compliance and risk mitigation. Furthermore you are regarded for your ability to drive continuous improvement and to enhance business performance and growth through effective strategies, systems and processes.
