Picking up the Moonee Valley City Council's MV2040 Strategy, you can't help but feel inspired. Now more than ever, it is apparent the blueprint adopted by this diverse and beautiful inner metro Melbourne Council is on point. MV2040's vision is for 'A healthy city', where together Council will create and continually improve the conditions that enable all of us to enjoy the highest level of health and wellbeing possible. The MV2040 Strategy will be achieved through a framework of strategic directions, objectives and actions across five themes - Fair, Thriving, Connected, Green and Beautiful. This framework will be delivered across 13 neighbourhoods, which will be planned so that people can access most of their everyday needs within a 20-minute walk, cycle or local public transport trip of their home.
Council is now seeking a CEO to ensure the organisation is appropriately structured, resourced and engaged to deliver on these exciting ambitions. They seek a true partner to work alongside, realise their advocacy ambitions and who will proactively engage with their diverse stakeholders. Further, this role will enhance the capital works delivery and ensure the financial sustainability of Council.

Your natural sense of energy and resilience has enabled you to proactively engage with a diverse and broad range of stakeholders. Politically astute, you are comfortable working across all tiers of government. A proven results-oriented executive leader, you have demonstrated expertise in leading large complex service delivery organisations or divisions and have an understanding of regulatory environments.
