- Strategic leadership opportunity
- Well supported brand and charity
- Opportunity to change lives of children and young people
Lighthouse Foundation creates caring communities where children and young people can feel safe, form meaningful relationships and heal from traumatic experiences, helping them to thrive.
For more than thirty years Lighthouse Foundation has been successful in transforming the lives of over 1000 young people through the provision of homes, therapeutic care programs and evidence-based strategies. This now also includes the education and support of Foster Carers, so they too can support some of Australia's most vulnerable youth.
With a new vision, mission and values that represent Lighthouse Foundation's remarkable progression, the organisation is searching for its next CEO - an inspirational and strategic leader. Working closely with a passionate and dedicated board, the CEO will contribute to and deliver the strategic plan to ensure that Lighthouse Foundation can help more young people in need.
As a dynamic and respectful leader, the CEO will drive growth through the ongoing development of strong partnerships with donors, philanthropists, corporate organisations and government. Aspiring to stop youth homelessness the CEO will also advocate on behalf of the charity and sector, to increase funding opportunities, contribute to policy discussion to create wider and sustained impact. Leading a dedicated team of staff and volunteers, the CEO will build leadership capability and expertise, whilst ensuring commitment to the vision and mission of Lighthouse Foundation.
This is an opportunity for an experienced CEO or executive, with aligned values, to lead this well-known, highly respected organisation through a time of significant growth. Experience within health, Not-For-Profit or social justice environments will be well regarded although not essential. This is a real opportunity to have impact, not just through Lighthouse Foundation but as a voice and advocate to government, supporting the sector to stop youth homelessness.
