Working collaboratively with the newly elected Mayor and Councillors, you will draw upon your visionary leadership to continue to build upon an engaged, motivated and high performing organisation. Under your guidance, the organisation will plan for sustainable growth considering financial, social, environmental and urban/rural impacts, securing future prosperity for the community. With over 1,700 employees, you will ensure residents are placed at the centre of all services and that they continue to positively evolve. You will be responsible for financial performance and good governance, while also ensuring the large annual capital works program is successfully delivered. Actively collaborating with Councillors, you will take a lead role in strategic advocacy to positively progress the issues important to the region. Your ability to identify and collaborate with the city's diverse stakeholders will enhance outcomes and drive opportunities for innovation, meaningful partnerships across the community and growth.
As a results-oriented leader, you bring expertise in leading large complex service delivery organisations and have an understanding of regulatory environments and working with elected members. Well regarded for being a values-driven leader, you thrive in creating an empowered workforce with a focus on building future talent. Further, you are politically astute and have worked with all tiers of government to achieve strategic outcomes.
