Job Description

Due to organisational growth and an increasing gap in the market, this newly created opportunity now exists to join a non-for-profit organisation that holds a national presence. They deliver a diverse range of services to a large customer base, are renowned for providing excellent service and are committed to becoming a leader in their industry by building the capability and integrity of people.

To help transform and commercialise their organisation to be a market leader that stays ahead of current industry trends, they are seeking a Business Manager who will help drive the organisation into the future. The Business Manager will be responsible for demonstrating improved efficiencies and sustainability to key stakeholders. Measures of success will be new business opportunities that have been obtained, as well as orchestrating business development programs with the aim of generating enhanced revenue streams. It is expected that the Business Manager will develop business models that influence board decisions, as well as establish internal leadership programs. The Business Manager will lead the continuous improvement of current corporate services as well as maintaining current outsourced functions.

To be successful in this role you are a proven strategic leader who has a strong sense of political and commercial acumen with a blended background of non-for-profit, the private sector and understanding of the public sector ecosystem. You have a strong track record for improving corporate services and strategically managing organisational finances. You are regarded for your exceptional business development nous and have a proven history for leading organisational improvements and embedding efficiencies. Your communication and presentation skills are articulate and professional and have seen you enhance stakeholder relationships and trust in your capabilities when reporting to / presenting to a board. You are someone who can enhance strategic thinking and instill high achieving outcomes in their teams.
