To help transform and commercialise their organisation and to be a market leader and stay ahead of current industry trends, they are seeking a Business Development Manager who will help drive the organisation into the future. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for repositioning the organisation and enhancing the perception of the organisation that they are an efficient, effective and sustainable organisation. The Business Development Manager will be tasked with bringing in new business opportunities as well as orchestrating business development programs with the aim of generating enhanced revenue streams. This role will also see the Business Development Manager develop business cases, long term organisational strategies, long term financial modelling and internal business improvements. The Business Development Manager will lead the delivery of a suite of corporate services. Furthermore, the Business Development Manager will foster and support holistic organisational thinking and will bring confidence to the Board, CEO and the broader management team, positioning themselves as a trusted advisor.

To be successful in this role you are a proven strategic leader who has a strong sense of political and commercial acumen with experience stemmed from both the public and private sectors. With extensive knowledge and appreciation of finance you will have a proven background in strategically managing organisational finances and budgeting processes. You are passionate about driving a positive culture and have successfully led high performing teams. You are regarded for your exceptional business development nous and have a track record leading organisational improvements and embedding efficiencies. Your communication and presentation skills are articulate and professional and have seen you enhance stakeholder relationships and trust in your capabilities when reporting to / presenting to a board. You are someone who can enhance strategic thinking and instill high achieving outcomes in their teams.
