Job Description

Are you an experienced Business Analyst with Human Resource Information System experience? Our high profile client is based in one of Melbourne's inner suburbs is looking for BA to assist with their Human Resource system implementation project, they're proud that they have managed to maintain a real community feel. With over 400 employees and contractors. Driving a change of direction is a new and highly regarded leadership team who are passionate about a supporting workplace.

In this role you will:

  • Translate business needs into functional requirements for HRIS configuration
  • Effective elicitation of requirements and translating to formats required by the HRIS implementation partner
    • Organise and run workshops
    • Document outcomes and decisions in appropriate forms to enable signoff
  • Maintain configuration workbooks with up to date requirements; representing data needs, events and workflows, security permissions within the HRIS
  • Understand and document data requirements and mapping of data values between different systems
  • Be capable of looking for, documenting and supporting process improvements as requirements are determined
  • Contribute to design discussions resolving complex scenarios
  • Recognises and identifies potential areas where existing policies and procedures require change, or where new ones need to be developed
  • Is a resourceful problem-solver, leveraging internal and partner resources in assigned opportunities where and when needed to do what's right for the enterprise;


  • Have experience as a BA or managing a production component of an HRIS
  • Have a basic understanding of HR processes
  • Have a desire to self-develop knowledge and skills
  • High level of agility and be able to multi-task
  • Customer focused, with the ability to develop and foster effective working relationships
  • Proactive approach and self-starter
  • Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
  • Strong communication skills
  • Results oriented
