Have you ever wanted to be involved in developing the market and creating innovative housing solutions for people with disabilities? Have you had experience developing, growing or operating real estate business? If so, we want to hear from you.

We are currently seeking a commercially savvy individual to join our client and support the growth of their housing real estate social enterprise.

You will lead the development of the real estate enterprise business operations, acting as officer in effective control, managing the day to day and bringing new properties onto the listing site, liaising with providers, developers and owners to lead marketing and matching of their properties.

You will be responsible for quoting and negotiating fees and signing up properties and contracts for matching tenants working with a small and growing team to deliver this work Australia wide.

You will work across a broad range of commercial and community stakeholders and build partnerships along the way that will contribute to the longer-term achievement for our client's social impact goal.

About you

You have the passion and ability to bring your experience to a for purpose social enterprise organization. You work best in a small team and with autonomy and enjoy the challenge of working with ambiguity.

For you to be successful in this role, you must demonstrate a track record and experience in business development in either a property management or real estate setting and have experience in setting up effective business systems in these areas.

You possess sound operational and financial management experience to ensure effective financial controls and sustainability is achieved.

You hold a current Real Estate license with at least 2 years experience and have experience with trust accounts.

You also have experience in coaching and mentoring staff and growing teams to build their capacity.

Finally you have outstanding written and communication skills with an ability to influence through effective stakeholder and engagement skills.
