Job Description

One of TfNSW major divisions has an exceptional opportunity for a highly experienced professional for the Associate Director - Operational Systems.

This role is responsible for driving operational performance by identifying and implementing train crew operating systems, supporting the directorate with continuous improvement initiatives, and managing the division's project management office and its deliverables.

This role is also responsible for the ownership of train crew performance data, train crew business intelligence systems and the directorate's operational readiness strategy.

Essentially you will come with experience working within a large organisation which has been made up of multifunctional and cross divisional databases and information inputs and outputs thus complex systems and process.

You will need to identify risk points and put plans in place so that predictions for future incidents and likely scenarios are factored in and allowed for to ensure the workforce roster suffers minimal impact on a day to day basis. The starting point in doing this will be to amalgamate five coexisting databases into one functional system.

Working extensively with internal stakeholders and external software stakeholders this role will require you to manage multidiscipline IT and statistical resources to deliver train crew KPI's and lead the research, identification and promotion of new mobile technology, business systems and systems to improve train crew operations and productivity.

This is a permanent role within a great team of people who are working independently but collaboratively on an ongoing program delivering continuous development and improvement to Operational Systems initiatives.

Remuneration is up to $235K package.
