About the Role:

Reporting into the Procurement Manager, the Procurement Officer will be responsible for a wide range of activities for a temporary contract based in the Brisbane CBD. This is a busy role in a challenging yet rewarding environment. Your key duties will include but not limited to:
  • Ongoing maintenance of the contract register
  • Support the business with low risk procurement activities
  • Manage the Procurement Inbox
  • Support Vendor creation
  • Create and manage purchase orders
  • Provide contract administration duties as required
  • Manage the issue and receipt of RFQs/ITOs, including clarifications and supplier feedback
  • Support the development and implementation of procurement procedures, guides and templates
  • Support the use of Government standing offer arrangements (SOAs)
  • Prepare data sets for procurement reporting

About You:
  • 3+ years demonstrated procurement experience
  • Knowledge and understanding of government legislations and policy
  • Professional, reliable and hard working
  • Excellent communicator – both verbal and written
  • High attention to detail and systems savvy
