About the Company
This is a great opportunity to be part of a newly established government owned entity and contribute to providing a valuable service to customers in regional Queensland. Reporting to the CEO, the Office Manager will be responsible for a wide range of administrative activities and providing high level support to the organisation, including assisting in initial set-up of administrative procedures and policies. This position would suit a self-motivated, proactive individual who is excited to make this role their own.   Your responsibilities will include (but are not limited to):
  • Management of the office on a day to day and setting up administrative processes and procedures
  • Act as the first point of contact in relation to enquiries via phone and email, and ensuring phone calls are screened and directed accordingly
  • Diary management for small team and the CEO, including meeting bookings and setting up video conference equipment
  • Setting up company records, files and maintaining electronic and paper files, and monitoring compliance with company standards
  • Accurate data processing, collating information and documentation as required
  • Co-ordinate and organise small events on request
  • Trouble shooting IT issues and liaising with staff to resolve any problems
  • Manage office consumables, order stationary and sort and deliver mail
  • Liaise with landlord in relation to tenancy issues, repair or office updates
