About the Company
Queensland Rail owns and operates the regional and passenger rail network which provides public, passenger, tourism and freight transport services across the state.   Having successfully completed an enterprise-wide review of its operating model, Queensland Rail has revealed an exciting realignment of its structure that will strengthen and accelerate its ability to deliver a world-class rail service and its commitment to customer excellence, safety and reliability. Reporting into the Chief Executive Officer, this position will lead Queensland Rail’s Strategy, Planning and Transformation Group, which includes the business groups of Transformation, Technology, Enterprise and Business Strategy, Integrated Operations Planning and Information Strategy.

About the Role
This is an exciting opportunity to be part of an executive leadership team committed to transforming rail in Queensland.  As the Group Executive, Strategy, Planning & Transformation you will be accountable for providing strategic leadership and management of Queensland Rail’s enterprise strategies, integrated planning and transformation strategy and initiatives to ensure high safety and service standards are upheld in the effective design, maintenance, management and deployment of long term integrated plans, organisational transformation and operational readiness.

About You
This critical role requires a highly strategic and innovative leader with experience in delivering effective transformation outcomes within a large and complex commercial, customer-oriented and major infrastructure projects environment.  You will have extensive experience in designing and implementing innovative, enterprise-level strategies, best practice integrated planning and transformation methodologies.  You will also boast an in-depth knowledge in the design and application of contemporary frameworks to ensure future operational readiness and performance in similar highly complex, large organisations.
