Reporting to the Director City Life, you will provide leadership to the Sport and Recreation department that will enable the delivery of holistic and integrated services and programs that enhances the City’s health, wellbeing and inclusion outcomes. With an enabling environment that encourages innovation and creativity, you will embed a sense of community across your engaged teams and empower them to reimagine what the future of recreation and sport in the City could be. You will engage with critical areas of the organisation and build strong relationships with the wider leadership team to support the delivery of the Wyndham 2040 Vision.

To be successful in this role, you bring deep experience successfully working with and for the community to increase participation in new and different ways. You have an understanding of strategic planning for sport and recreation and have developed high performance cultures within the teams that you have led in the past. You bring a strategic mind, a future focus and a track record of converting plans into action. Being an energetic, enthusiastic and optimistic individual, you bring a collaborative approach to working with others and a desire to deliver genuine outcomes for the community.
