PrimeSafe was established on 1 July 2003 under the Seafood Safety Act 2003 and the Meat Industry Act 1993. PrimeSafe’s functions include control and review of standards for construction and hygiene at meat and seafood processing facilities. This control is achieved through a licensing and inspection system and audited quality assurance programs to ensure standards are maintained. PrimeSafe also regulates vehicles transporting meat and seafood with regard to construction, hygiene, cleanliness and maintenance.
About the Role
As the Executive Assistant to the CEO, you will take charge of managing all aspects of the CEO’s Office including diary coordination, email and correspondence, drafting documents, engaging with key stakeholders, assisting with projects and facilitating agency functions. Being a small agency and cohesive team, you will lend support across the office to other Managers and assist with administration tasks when required.
Drawing upon your understanding of government environments, you will be highly motivated with the ability to effectively navigate the operating environment. You will be a self-starter and able to determine priorities to enable the CEO to be highly efficient and effective. You possess strong attention to detail and be known for your high level of responsiveness to senior leaders, staff and other stakeholders. You will be task focused and have strong time management skills, with the ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively to achieve collective outcomes.
